About
Who am I?
Hi there 👋
I am a Mechanical Engineering researcher with focus on Biomechanics.
My research focuses on paediatric bone mechanics which require small element sizes to accurately model. This created large models that combined with large CT images created usage issues with existing software solutions in my workflow. I wanted something to solve these issues and was an open-source alternative for mapping bone materials that was as fast or faster than existing solutions so I built this.
This tool was built at IMSB group which is part of the Insigneo Institute at the University of Sheffield. Please check out the other work from the group and institute, they are doing some amazing research in the field of Biomechanics.
